He told that during this time he will go to the India-Bangladesh border and will inaugurate the National Forensic Science University. After this, he will attend the program organized on the completion of one year of Himanta Biswa Sarma government . Officials said Shah will begin his Assam tour on Monday by visiting the Border Out Post ( BOP ) in Manakchar and interacting with the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed along the international border.
After this, the Home Minister will inaugurate the Central Store and Workshop of the Border Security Force (BSF) and launch Khadi and Village Industries products in Tamulpur, he said. On Monday evening, he would inaugurate the census office and the SSB building at Amingaon near Guwahati, officials said. Shah will also inaugurate the Super Specialty Hospital and National Forensic University in Guwahati.

On Tuesday, the Home Minister will inspect the Assam Police parade and have lunch with officers and jawans at the Assam Police Headquarters, officials said. He said that later in the afternoon, Shah is scheduled to attend the one year celebrations of the Himanta Biswa Sarma government in Guwahati. After this, he will lay the foundation stone of the Police Commissionerate building in the city. During this, Shah will tour the entire state and give information about the policies of the Centre. During this time the work of schools, hospitals, stadiums and universities will start.
