Uttar Pradesh : Yogi government will get more than 11 thousand poor daughters married, people of different communities and religions should apply like this

The state government is going to make the hands of more than 11 thousand daughters of poor families yellow. The government has fixed the date of mass marriage. Under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme, mass marriages will be organized simultaneously in all the districts of the state on May 27 and June 10. Each district has been given a target to conduct 150 mass marriages. Yogi government is running Chief Minister mass marriage scheme to make poor daughters yellow. In order to promote universal harmony and social harmony, marriage programs are organized according to the customs of different communities and religions under the Chief Minister’s Collective Marriage Scheme, which has been operated since October 2017. The objective of this scheme is to eliminate unnecessary demonstrations and wasteful expenditure in the marriage festival, as well as to arrange such marriages of daughters of poor families, which the VIPs of the district can arrange.

Under the scheme, the government spends Rs 51 thousand on each pair. In this, 35 thousand rupees are given in the girl’s account for the establishment of the household and happiness in married life. 10 thousand rupees are spent on the materials required for the marriage ceremony like clothes, beech, anklets, utensils etc. The government spends six thousand rupees on organizing the marriage of each couple. Under this scheme, now Yogi Sarkar 2.0 will get the mass marriage done on May 27. Most marriages will be done on this date. After this, the marriages that will survive will be done on June 10.

Director Social Welfare Rakesh Kumar said that instructions have been sent to the social welfare officers of all the districts to organize mass marriages at their respective places as per the target. All the officials will register themselves for the marriage. Many steps are also being taken to provide maximum benefit of this scheme to the daughters of needy poor families. Strict instructions have also been given to ensure that there is no fraud in the scheme.
