Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Changed debit card on asking for help, cheated of thousands of rupees

In Shyampur and Meeranagar area under Kotwali, two persons have filed a complaint against unknown in Kotwali in connection with cheating of lakhs of rupees from their account by changing debit card. Police have registered various cases against unknown people. Police has started investigation in this direction.
Kotwali police said that on May 6, Alam Singh Negi’s son Late. Bhajan Singh Negi resident of Guddu Plot Shyampur told that he had gone to PNB ATM on Friday at 11:30 am. At the ATM, he sought help from some unknown person, where four, five boys fraudulently changed his debit card. After that, cash of thousands of rupees was withdrawn from his account. On the other hand, Chhotelal Gupta resident street number one Miranagar IDPL, while giving a complaint in Kotwali, said that on May 6, his daughter Kiran had gone to withdraw money from PNB ATM. Around 12:30 pm, his daughter sought help from unknown persons in withdrawing money from the ATM. Unknown person changed his debit card. After that 25-25 thousand rupees were withdrawn from his bank account in three times. On the basis of Tahrir, the Kotwali police has registered a case against unknown people.
