High Court’s strict remarks in Lakhimpur Kheri Case

Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has made important remarks today in the case of violence that took place on October 3 last year in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. The court said that if Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni had not given a statement threatening to drive out the farmers, then the violent incident in Lakhimpur would not have happened.

Let us inform that the main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case is Ashish Mishra alias Monu, son of Ajay Mishra Teni. On February 10, the Allahabad High Court ordered Ashish to be released on bail. After this, farmer organizations challenged it in the Supreme Court. The top court canceled the bail on April 18.
