Uttarakhand / Haldwani : ROW work stalled due to non-receipt of permission from Railways

For eight months, the railways is sitting on the design of ROB (Railway Overbridge) sent by NHAI. Railways is neither failing nor passing the design by saying it is wrong. Due to this the work of ROB is not being started. On the other hand, NHAI has fixed June 30 for the construction of four-lane highway.

Fourlane highway is to be made from Nariman Tirahe to Rudrapur via Gaulapar-Teenpani. Work on this is also going on. NHAI has fixed June 30 as the deadline for its construction, but in this time limit the bridge over the railway line near Teenpani has not been included. Earlier, the design of ROB to be built here was sent to the Railways by NHAI. Then the Railways objected to this design and returned it. After this, NHAI again sent these objections and sent the design to the Railways, but for eight months, the Railways could neither pass the design nor return it by raising any objection. Because of this, this ROB is stuck.
