District Magistrate Dr. R. The Additional District Magistrate was instructed to take strict action under the relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act and Public Safety Act, in the event of summoning the explanation of Engineer (South) Water Institute and Executive Engineer Electricity and not responding satisfactorily within 3 days. Along with this, in case of non-receipt of satisfactory response to the explanation, he warned to withdraw the works of Smart City from the concerned institute/department.

Expressing strong displeasure due to negligence and delay in the works of Smart City, District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar directed Additional District Magistrate (V/R) K.K. Mishra to call for clarification of the officers of the concerned departments. In compliance with the instructions of District Magistrate Dr. R Rajesh Kumar, the Additional District Magistrate, while summoning clarification from the Executive Engineer Jal Sansthan and the Executive Engineer Electricity Department, directed them to submit the report within three days.

It is to be noted that in the works of Smart City Ltd., due to water pipeline leakage, water leakage and aggregation is taking place on various internal routes of the city, due to the construction of potholes in the roads.
