Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Police returned ladies bags of pilgrims from Melbourne Australia on Chardham Yatra safely

Jawan Budhi Ram and Home Guard Jawan Pitambar Dutt Tiwari of Gaonla Police Outpost of Uttarkashi district were on duty on Char Dham Yatra at Shiv Gufa Nagal Mahargaon today on 10-05-2022. Meanwhile, Hotel Brijmani Bhatt, located on the roadside, informed these jawans that an unidentified traveler’s ladies bag had been left in their hotel. As soon as these soldiers gathered information, it came to know that the bag of pilgrim JP Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha, who had come from Melbourne, Australia on Char Dham Yatra, has been left somewhere near the Shiva cave, in which fifty thousand rupees cash and passport is also there. Police interrogated JP Sinha and Poonam Sinha and safely returned fifty thousand rupees cash, passport and luggage kept in their bags and bags.

The hoteliers and police personnel were highly praised by the pilgrims for their honesty.
