Mahendra Singh Dhoni warned the rest of the teams for the next season with this statement

Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings became the second team to be pulled out of IPL 2022. On Thursday night, CSK suffered a five-wicket defeat at the hands of tournament out-of-favour Mumbai Indians in a losing match. Batting first, CSK were bundled out for 97 runs in this match. Chasing the target, CSK bowlers initially pushed Mumbai on the back foot, but in the end, AMI chased down the target with 41 balls to spare. MS Dhoni praised his fast bowlers after the match.

Dhoni said after the match “It is difficult to defend any score below 130 no matter what the wicket, but I told the bowlers to show character and forget about the result. Both the young fast bowlers really did. Bowled well and I think that kind of game really helps him believe in himself that irrespective of the conditions, we need to have that kind of attitude whenever we start and that’s the shortest format. I am necessary.”

Dhoni further said, “We have gone through a phase where we never had an exceptional bench of fast bowlers. Also fast bowlers take their time to mature, if you are lucky you find someone who is six months old. Can play in all formats in the U.S. and that’s what IPL is doing and it’s an opportunity for a lot of them. They bowl a little bit bolder now which is very important in this kind of format. Some players plan their plans better. Let’s take our time before applying. The fast bowlers being really good at both of them is a big positive, and also we have two more fast bowlers coming next season, plus we have a few more bowlers up our sleeves Just want to give them enough time to prepare.”

Let us tell you, Mukesh Chaudhary and Simarjit Singh, while bowling brilliantly in the powerplay, pushed Mumbai Indians on the backfoot, both of these bowlers bowled tightly and gave 4 blows to Mumbai in the first 6 overs.
