Dust storm likely in Delhi-NCR today after 49 degree ‘Temperature Torture’
Today, there is a change in the weather in Delhi-NCR since morning. It is cloudy in Delhi-NCR. Due to which the weather has become pleasant. People of many states including Delhi-NCR were facing severe heat and heat wave for the last four days. In such a situation, the change in the weather has definitely given some relief to the people from the heat.

The heat has been wreaking havoc across the country for the past few days. On the last day itself, in the capital Delhi, the mercury reached beyond 49 degree Celsius. The heat wave from above added to the problems of the people. But it is a matter of good luck that today there is a change in the weather in Delhi-NCR since morning. Delhi-NCR is cloudy. Due to which the weather has become pleasant.
There is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorms in some parts of Himachal Pradesh from Monday to Wednesday, due to which people can get some relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department in Shimla said on Monday that there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas of the state.
Residents of Madhya Pradesh are likely to get respite from the scorching heat this week as the temperature has started to drop and the mercury is expected to drop further in the next few days. An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information on Monday.
The national capital Delhi will remain partly cloudy on Monday. There is a possibility of strong dust storm. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 41 and 28 degree Celsius respectively.
According to the Meteorological Department, pre-monsoon activities will start with cyclonic winds over Punjab and Haryana. As a result, people of Delhi-NCR will get some relief from the heat on Monday and Tuesday.
The sky will remain clear on Wednesday and Thursday, but strong sunlight and heat will trouble the capital residents again. At the same time, a yellow alert is going on for Friday. Heat will prevail in different places. For a few days, the heat wave continues in Delhi-NCR amidst the scorching heat.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature in the country’s capital Delhi crossed 49 degree Celsius amid strong sunlight, scorching heat and heat wave.
According to the Meteorological Department, Mangeshpur area of Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 49.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Najafgarh area recorded 49.1 degrees Celsius, which is a record for the last several years in the month of May.
The weather will be clear on Wednesday and Thursday. There is a possibility of heat wave on Friday. On Saturday, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with partly cloudy sky again.
The Meteorological Department has expected relief in the next two days due to the activity of Western Disturbance. However, this week also there is a possibility of heat wave on Friday.
