Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Jeetpur Negi officially joined the corporation
There is good news for the people of Jeetpur Negi. Now they will start getting the facilities of the Municipal Corporation. The government has issued orders to officially include Jeetpur Negi in the municipal corporation. The area of the corporation has increased by 10.50 hectares.
According to the survey conducted in 2011, the population of Jeetpur Negi area was 637, which has now increased to about 1500. This area was neither included in the municipal corporation nor was it included in the rural area. Due to this the people living here were not getting the benefits of government schemes. Income, caste, birth-death etc. proofs were not even able to be made. These people had been demanding for a long time to include Jeetpur Negi in the municipal corporation.
Just before the election, the GO was issued to include Jeetpur Negi in the municipal corporation. In this, objections were sought from the people. After this the code of conduct was put in place. Because of this the objections could not be heard. After the code of conduct, the hearing was completed. Now the government has officially included Jeetpur Negi in the Municipal Corporation. Now all the facilities will be given by the Municipal Corporation to the people of Jeetpur Negi. Along with this, the Municipal Corporation will also issue birth-death certificates. Confirming this, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Bhasin said that the government has officially included Jeetpur Negi in the Municipal Corporation. Its GO has reached the Municipal Corporation.
