Inflation hit again, the price of cooking gas in Delhi crossed 1000
The inflation-stricken common man has got another setback this morning. For the second time this month, the price of LPG cylinder has been increased. Domestic cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price Today) has become expensive once again. The prices of commercial cylinders have also been increased. The price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 3.50. From today, Delhi 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1003, Mumbai Rs 1002.50, Kolkata Rs 1029 and Chennai Rs 1018.50. Domestic cylinder prices have increased for the second time this month. Earlier on May 7, the price of cylinder was increased by Rs 50. Along with the domestic cylinder, the commercial cylinder of 19 kg has also become expensive. Today its price has been increased by Rs. Now a 19 kg cylinder has become Rs 2354 in Delhi, Rs 2454 in Kolkata, Rs 2306 in Mumbai and Rs 2507 in Chennai.
With this increase, the price of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder has crossed Rs 1000 across the country. In the last one year, the domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone from Rs 809 to Rs 1003. Domestic LPG prices had increased by Rs 50 on March 22. There was no increase in the price of this cylinder in April. Then on May 7, it was increased by Rs 50. After this, the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi was reduced to Rs 999.50 per cylinder in the capital Delhi. After today’s hike, its price has crossed Rs 1000 in the city.
Commercial cylinder became expensive
On April 1, there was a huge increase in the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder. On that day its price was increased by Rs 249.50 per cylinder. After this, the price of this cylinder in Delhi had gone up to Rs 2253. After this, on May 1, 2022, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder was increased by Rs 104 per cylinder. After that, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder was increased to Rs 2,355 per cylinder. Due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, there has been a jump in the price of crude oil at the international level. Due to this, fuel prices have reached record levels across the world.
