Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya has termed the handing over of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to private hands as corruption. He says that it is not right to sideline the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN), which has been conducting this yatra for the last 27 years, from this event. Arya has demanded the government to investigate the matter after considering this decision. In a statement issued to the media on Friday, Arya said that the world famous Kailas Mansarovar Yatra is being operated since 1981. KMVN started Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in Indian border from 1994. By conducting the yatra in the unfavorable conditions of the beginning, KMVN established about a dozen TRCs and camps on the route.

Arya said that for KMVN working in the field of tourism in the state, the return of travel operations in adverse conditions was to be received better now, but the corporation had signed an agreement with a private company for eight years without any tender. took.
