Uttar Pradesh : Complaint of corruption was received against 5, Allahabad High Court dismissed three judges

The Administrative Committee of the Allahabad High Court in Uttar Pradesh had received complaints of corruption against five judicial officers. At the same time, after the allegations against 3 judicial officers posted in Uttar Pradesh were found to be true during the investigation, they have been dismissed. Explain that due to lack of concrete evidence of corruption against two officers, the High Court has acquitted them. During this, the Uttar Pradesh government will soon issue an order in this regard.

In fact, the officers of the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service who have been found guilty of judicial misconduct include Ashok Kumar Singh (6th ADJ), Himanshu Bhatnagar, Additional District and Sessions Judge and Dr. Rakesh Kumar Nain, Special Judge Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Let us inform that on 28 March 2001, Ashok Kumar Singh was posted as Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Ghazipur. He was appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge Badaun on 4 July 2015. He was suspended on July 11, 2015.

At the same time, Himanshu Bhatnagar was appointed as Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division) on March 19, 1996. Where he was posted to Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ballia on 16 April 2021. In addition Dr. Rakesh Kumar Nain had joined the judicial service of the state on August 11, 1999. During this time he was Special Judge (Prevention of Atrocities on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act, Siddharth Nagar.

Let us inform that after investigating the complaints of corruption received against the three judicial officers, the allegations have been found to be true. After this, the High Court, after careful review, dismissed the three judicial officers with immediate effect. The notification/order in this regard is likely to be issued by the state soon.
