In this regard, in a memorandum submitted to the regional MLA Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, committee president Rajendra Singh Negi has said that at present, due to skyrocketing prices of English medicines, the crisis of survival is increasing on the patients of the families living in scarcity. Therefore, for the purpose of providing cheap medicines to the common people on behalf of the Government of India, arrangements have been made for the operation of Jan Aushadhi Kendra in every government hospital, but the Jan Aushadhi Kendra established in the base hospital at Kotdwar is based on this decision of the Government of India in public interest. It’s a hit. This center has been closed for a long time, and patients are being forced to buy expensive medicines from medical stores.
In the memorandum, he has appealed to the regional MLA to pay attention to this without any delay.
