Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Two bike riders killed in tractor-trolley collision

Two workers on bike died in tractor-trolley collision. Police reached the information and arrested the tractor driver. Also, the incident was reported to the families of the deceased. The police have sent the body to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem after filling the Panchnama. Along with this, taking possession of the tractor-trolley and bike, has made it stand in the Kotwali.

According to the police, Balendra (42) residents of village Taleda, Thana Jansath district Muzaffarnagar and Jitendra (38) were working in Gangotri Cardboard Factory located in Mohalla Kukra, Nai Mandi, Muzaffarnagar Narsan. On Monday night at around ten o’clock, both of them left the factory and went towards Purkaji for some work on a bike. While coming to the factory from Purkaji at around 12 o’clock in the night, a tractor-trolley coming from opposite direction hit his bike near Rajwahe in Narsan town. Due to this both were seriously injured. Passers-by informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent both the injured to Roorkee Civil Hospital. There the doctors declared both of them brought dead. Kotwali in-charge Rajiv Rauthan told that the tractor driver has been arrested. In the night itself, the relatives of the deceased were informed. On receipt of Tahrir, a case will be registered against the tractor driver.
