BJP leader Kishore Upadhyay’s sister-in-law Nazia Yusuf arrested from Kochi
Nazia Yusuf, wife of Sachin Upadhyay, brother of BJP leader Kishore Upadhyay, has been arrested from the Kochi airport. The police had issued a look out notice against Nazia accused of forgery. Airport officials told the police that she was on the verge of fleeing abroad and was caught during the investigation. Dehradun Police has left for Kochi to bring him.
Nazia Yusuf was absconding since 2017 in a case registered at Rajpur police station. The police had also announced a reward of one thousand rupees on him. The case was registered on the complaint of Delhi resident Mukesh Joshi. Mukesh Joshi was the partner of Sachin Upadhyay. He had alleged that Upadhyay and his wife Nazia Yusuf had fraudulently vandalized their land. Along with this, loans have also been taken from many banks on this. This asset was said to be worth Rs 26 crore. In the year 2019, the police had imposed an FR in this case.
But the court did not accept the FR. In this case, the police arrested Sachin Upadhyay in the year 2020. Sachin is currently out of jail on bail, but Nazia could not come to the hands of the police. Therefore, on January 8, a reward of one thousand rupees was announced on him. A look out notice was also issued against him recently. According to the information received from the police, Nazia reached Kochi airport on Wednesday. During the security checking, Nazia was caught and the Dehradun Police was informed. DIG Janmejay Khanduri told that the police has been sent to Kochi from Rajpur police station.
Case was also registered in Selakui
A case against Sachin Upadhyay was also registered in Selakui. Gurugram resident Pramod Badoni had told the police that in the year 2011, Sachin had done plating on the land located in Sheeshambada. There he had talked about getting a plot. Sachin did not get the plot, on the contrary his money was also grabbed. A case was registered in this case in July 2020.
