Uttarakhand / Rudrapur : The main accused in the Saddam murder case was bulldozed at the house of the Nawab
On the lines of Uttar Pradesh, now the police in Uttarakhand has started strict action against the criminals. On Thursday, the Udham Singh Nagar police destroyed the house of Nawab Ali, the main accused in the Saddam murder case, in Rudrapur by running a bulldozer. The action of the police has stirred the other criminals.
After the arrest of Nawab Ali and his friend Mehrunnisha, the main accused in the Saddam murder case, in the evening, the police took action to demolish Nawab Ali’s house and godown built on illegal Nazul’s land in Subhash Colony. In the presence of heavy police force, there was a gathering of people in the colony as soon as the demolition process started with the bulldozer. The entire house was demolished during the operation which lasted for about two hours.
Police said that the Nawab used to spread panic in the surrounding area. Neighbors were also very upset with him. He took possession of Nazul’s land in Subhash Colony and built a junk warehouse and a house. He also has another house. It is claimed that this is the first major action of this kind against criminals in Uttarakhand. In view of the incidents of continuous killings in the district for almost a month, the police officials had warned to run bulldozers at the houses of the criminals. Kotwal Vikram Rathor, SSI Satish Kapri etc. were present in the police team.
Nawab Ali sent to jail
Rudrapur. The police had registered a case against five people, including the main accused, in the Saddam murder case. Police had already arrested three people in this case. On Thursday, the main accused Nawab and his friend Mehrunnisha were sent to jail on the orders of the court. According to the police, Nawab also has a criminal history. Cases are registered against him at Rudrapur and Transit Camp police stations. It is being told that the Nawab used to run a drug business under the guise of junk. He was making youth addicted to drugs.
Appreciate action against criminals
The action of running a bulldozer at the house and warehouse of the murdered Nawab Ali was appreciated by the people present on the spot. He said that by taking such action against the criminals, their nefarious designs would be curbed. Many present on the spot were surprised to see such action being taken against the criminals for the first time. There was a huge crowd of people in Subhash Colony till late evening.
