AAP party honored Ameesha, the country’s first deaf mountaineer to conquer Everest, appeal to the government to help such players

Ameesha Chauhan, a resident of Bhainswadi village of Jaunpur block Dhanaulti tehsil of Tehri district, who has enhanced the pride and honor of Uttarakhand, was honored at the Aam Aadmi Party State Office today for conquering Mount Everest.
Aam Aadmi Party’s state organization coordinator Jot Singh Bisht and all the office bearers honored Amisha Chauhan and her parents at the state office today. Jot Singh Bisht said during this that Ameesha had dreamed of becoming a pilot in her childhood, but that dream could not be fulfilled and she started work as a software engineer after completing her engineering studies, but something to be done. It was more acceptable and Ameesha started trekking in Uttarkashi in 2017 after which she met Bachendri Pal and took inspiration from there.
Jot Singh Bisht further informed that on 6th May 2018, Ameesha scaled Europe’s highest peak Mount Alberus in 71.5 hours and made a new record of being the fastest climber of India. Its height is 18510 feet. On 30 December 2017, Ameesha created the record for being the first Indian woman to climb the highest peak of Mount Kelemanjaro at 19,341 feet in 54 hours and entered the Asia Book of Records. After this, on 23 May 2019, Amisha, battling all the difficulties, hoisted the tricolor on Mount Everest and Ameesha is the first Deaf Person of India to conquer Everest.
He said that apart from this, Amisha has conquered many other peaks and one of her achievements is that she is also a national alpine skiing player. In the year 2020, he brought laurels to the state by winning the bronze medal for Uttarakhand in Gulmarg. During this, while honoring him, the entire team of Aam Aadmi Party has congratulated him and wished him all the best for his future. Jot Singh Bisht said that the state government should take initiative to promote such players as Amisha is the daughter of the entire Uttarakhand.
At the same time, Ameesha Chauhan told that she is India’s first deaf skiing player and if the government helps her for the Olympics going to be held in 2024, then she will bring laurels to the country along with the state. He said that his inspiration is his parents, who always encouraged him and inspired him to move forward.
