BJP announces names of Rajya Sabha candidates, surprising everyone, stamps on Kalpana Saini’s name from Uttarakhand

BJP has announced its candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat in Uttarakhand. Putting all the speculations to rest, the Bharatiya Janata Party has given a woman from the state a chance to go to the Rajya Sabha. BJP has made Dr. Kalpana Saini its candidate. Dr. Kalpana is the Chairperson of the Backward Commission of the Government of Uttarakhand. Kalpana Saini is a resident of Roorkee. The special thing is that this time the name of BJP’s central leader Piyush Goyal, including former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, was also in the panel for the Rajya Sabha, but, this time too, BJP surprised everyone and declared such a name as a candidate for Rajya Sabha.
