Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Bike rider mobile snatcher arrested

Police have arrested a mobile snatcher riding a bike from the area. From whom the police have recovered the mobile. While two of his accomplices are absconding.

According to Jwalapur Kotwal Mahesh Joshi, Mahesh Pal resident of village Kheda police station Bhanora district Bareilly Uttar Pradesh had given a complaint and told that he was going from Mandi to Harilok Colony on May 26. Meanwhile, three unidentified youths riding a bike snatched the mobile from his hand and fled. On the basis of Tahrir, police registered a case against unknown bike riders under relevant sections and started their search. The police were searching for the identity of the bike-borne snatchers while scanning the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site.

On information, the police caught a snatcher riding a bike from the area. The mobile that was snatched from him was recovered by the police. During interrogation, the accused told his name to be a resident of Mukim, Ghisupura police station Pathri. After registering a case against the accused under relevant sections, the police produced him in the court after medical and sent him to jail. Police are on the lookout for two other accused who are absconding.
