Three months later, a huge jump in corona cases in one day, alert to five states

Corona cases are once again increasing rapidly in India. Today more than four thousand cases of corona have been reported in the country. After 11 days, this is the biggest jump of corona cases in a day. According to the Health Ministry data, 43.17 million cases of Kovid infection have been registered in India since the beginning of the epidemic, out of which 5,24,651 people have been casualties. According to the report of the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of deaths due to corona in India is very high. The confirmation of corona patients after daily positivity rate and total testing is 0.95 percent.

Maharashtra has been a hot spot of Corona since the beginning. The positivity rate in Maharashtra is more than 8 percent this week. There has been a 231% increase in hospitalizations in May as compared to the previous month. Significantly, during this summer last year, there was a severe outbreak of Corona in the country. Due to Corona, there was a huge rush of patients in hospitals across the country. During this many people lost their lives. Five states Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have been advised by the Health Ministry to take strict steps to curb the increasing infection.

It is worth noting that these days the Omicron variant of Corona is creating a ruckus in the world. The Omicron variant is growing rapidly in countries like China, New Zealand and Taiwan. Even after strict lockdowns in Shanghai and Beijing, cases of corona continue to be found.
