Uttar Pradesh : CM Yogi strict on Kanpur violence, gangster will be on miscreants, bulldozer will run

CM Yogi has become very strict about the violence during the visit of President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kanpur. CM Yogi has directed strict action against the accused. Preparations are being made to put gangsters on the accused and also run bulldozers. The property of miscreants will also be confiscated. So far 18 people have been arrested after being taken into custody in the riots. On the basis of the video, efforts are being made to arrest others. Additional forces have been sent to the area. 12 companies and one platoon PAC have been sent.

After sending off PM Narendra Modi at Chakeri Airport in Kanpur, CM Yogi Adityanath took full details of the ruckus from Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra and DGP DS Chauhan right here. The Chief Minister instructed that action should be taken against the rioters in such a way that not a single culprit remains. He called up the Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi and asked him to know every moment and deal strictly with the ruckus.

Yogi told the DGP that after identifying the rioters, gangster action should be taken against them, as well as strict sections should be imposed. Yogi said that by confiscating the property of the rioters, take action under Rasuka so that in future no one can even think of creating a ruckus.

ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that some people tried to close the shops in Kanpur. When this was opposed, clashes started. Stone pelting was done from both the sides. When the police tried to control the situation, they were also pelted with stones. Senior officials also reached the spot and the situation was brought under control by using necessary force. Additional police force has been sent there.

Said that 12 companies have been sent a platoon PAC. The miscreants are being identified from the video footage. Strict action will be taken against the violators. All will be prosecuted under the Gangster Act and property will be confiscated. Bulldozers will also be run on the rioters.

At the same time, according to the police commissioner of Kanpur, two people were injured in the ruckus. 18 miscreants have been detained. All the arrests have been shown. Taking an aggressive stand, the police have entered the narrow streets with full preparation. A campaign of arrest has been launched on the basis of video footage. At present, there is silence at the Yatimkhana intersection and there is a heavy police force in the streets.
