The corona vaccine CORBEVAX from Biologicals E. Ltd. (BE) can now be used as a booster dose of COVID-19 in case of emergency. The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has given consent for this. For example, people 18 years of age and older who have taken both doses of Covishield or Covaccine can now take CORBEVAX as a booster dose of Corona in case of emergency.
Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical and vaccine company Biological E. Ltd. said that its corona vaccine CORBEVAX has received approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) as a booster dose of corona. Provided that patients will be able to use it only in emergency. BE’s CORBEVAX is the first vaccine manufactured in India, approved as a corona booster in extreme circumstances.

Earlier, Biologicals E. Ltd. (BE) had reduced the price of its corona vaccine CORBEVAX. Including GST (GST) at CORBEVAX Private Corona Vaccination Center will be available for Rs 250 instead of Rs 840. For consumers, it will cost Rs 400 per dose, which includes taxes and administration fees.
