Himanshu Pandey waved in the CDS exam, got the first place across the country
Himanshu Pandey, a resident of Haldwani, has brought laurels to Uttarakhand by securing the first rank at the All India level in the Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination. Himanshu has been selected for Indian Military Academy Dehradun. In view of Himanshu’s desire to serve the country since childhood, he was busy preparing for the last several years. He has secured first position in the country in the CDS exam. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of CDS exam on Friday.
Himanshu was preparing for the NDA and CDS exams for the last many years. He has secured first position in the examination given for the third time. Himanshu kept on going to Bangalore and Allahabad and giving interviews and medical. Where he finally got success. Himanshu’s father Kamal Pandey, who comes from a very poor family, works as a laborer in the Electricity Department. His mother is a housewife. Himanshu has given CDS exam twice before this.
Himanshu, who got the first place in the country, did his intermediate education from ABM School in Haldwani. Himashun had secured 95 percent marks in 12th. After which Himanshu did B.Tech from Dwarahat Engineering College. Himanshu continued to prepare for joining the army with engineering studies. In which they have got success. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the family after the success of Himanshu.
