A five-year-old girl was washed away in the strong current of the Ganges near the ghat of an ashram in the Sheeshmajhari area of ​​Munikireti. On information, the SDRF team reached the spot and started a search operation in the Ganges to find the girl. But nothing could be traced to him. Kailash Gate Outpost in-charge Yogesh Pandey told that on Sunday morning a family of Delhi was taking bath at Vedanta Ashram Ghat.

During this, the five-year-old girl of the family, Ashi, daughter of Amarnath, resident of Ashok Nagar, Delhi, suddenly slipped and got washed away in the strong current of water. While trying to save her, she got lost in the strong waves of the Ganges. After the incident people informed the police.

On receiving the information, the SDRF team reached the spot and immediately started the search operation. But the innocent girl was nowhere to be found. SDRF sub-inspector Kavinder Sajwan said that the search operation will be conducted again on Monday.
