Chhetri’s magic works
Indian captain Sunil Chhetri scored an amazing goal in the match. He hit a free-kick goal in the 85th minute and gave Team India a 1-0 lead, but Afghanistan leveled the match when Zubair Amiri scored a free header from 88 minutes. After this, a brilliant strike by Sahal Abdul Samad scored the decisive goal for Team India just before the end of the match from 90+2 minutes.

With this win, the Indian team has moved to the second position in Group D of the tournament. He has played two matches and has won both. The Hong Kong team is in the first place. Both have the same 6-6 points in their account. However, Hong Kong’s team is ahead in terms of goal difference.
