Swara Bhaskar got furious for burning Nupur Sharma’s effigy

For the past several days, there has been a ruckus across the country over a controversial statement of the suspended BJP spokesperson, Nupur Sharma. Since Nupur’s remarks, protests are being seen at different places across the country. There is also a demand for his arrest at many places. In such a situation, now the entertainment world is also openly expressing its views on this controversy. After director Vivek Agnihotri and actress Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has also given her reaction on this whole matter.

On her official social media account, Swara has protested the violent protest against Nupur by taking to Twitter. In her post, the actress has termed the hanging of an effigy with Nupur Sharma’s face wrong. In fact, recently, former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad made a tweet, in which he is seen condemning the hanging of Nupur Sharma’s effigy in Karnataka and urging it to be closed.

Retweeting the same tweet of the cricketer, Swara wrote, ‘I agree with this. I hope all of us sane people feel the same horror of mob lynching in the name of beef and when a poor migrant laborer was burnt alive on suspicion of alleged love jihad in Rajsamand, Rajasthan. It’s a mannequin they were real people. Our fear should not be based on identity.

Along with this, the actress wrote in another tweet, ‘Violence… along with being wrong, defames the methods of justice and legitimate reasons. Violence… is inhuman, immoral and a bad political strategy. No one could understand this better than Mahatma Gandhi. Inciting the victims to violence is like a trap. Don’t get caught up in it.

Earlier, actress Kangana Ranaut and director Vivek Agnihotri also openly supported Nupur Sharma in this matter. Significantly, Nupur Sharma’s troubles are increasing continuously since she made controversial remarks on Muhammad Prophet. In this case, the Bharatiya Janata Party has already suspended its spokesperson Nupur Sharma from the party. However, even after this, the matter is not taking the name of stopping.
