Petrol pump started drying up in Uttarakhand, heavy oil shortage in capital Dehradun and Haridwar

The crisis of petrol and diesel has started deepening in Uttarakhand too. The petrol diesel pumps of Hindustan Petroleum (HP), operating in the capital Dehradun, are empty for the last three days. At the same time, most of the 208 petrol pumps in Haridwar are on the verge of running out of oil.

Ashish Mittal, president of the Petrol Pump Association, says that about a dozen HP pumps are operating in the city. According to the information, there is no supply of petrol, diesel for the last three days. According to the information received from the operators, the condition of HP’s pumps of other states is also similar. At present, the oil company is not ready to tell anything regarding the supply. There is a long queue of vehicles in the pumps of other companies operating in the city, but the supply of other companies is going smoothly.
Supply stalled in CNG pump for the last fifteen days

Kunal Sethi, operator of Sethi Petrol Pump located on Sahastradhara Road, says that the main reason for not getting CNG is the lack of supply due to traffic in Haridwar, due to low voltage, the compressor machine is not able to lift the load. Apart from this, even after the demand, the CNG vehicle is not able to reach on time. Said that there is no possibility of supply of CNG going forward.
Petrol diesel crisis deepens in Haridwar district
The crisis of petrol and diesel has deepened in Haridwar district. While most of the petrol pumps are on the verge of running out of oil, there is a long queue of vehicles at the Indian Oil Corporation depot at Landora. In Uttarakhand, although there were reports of shortage of petrol and diesel in the hilly districts for the last few days, but now the possibility of deepening the crisis of petrol and diesel in Haridwar district has increased.
In fact, the petrol pump owners who had demanded diesel and petrol from Sunday evening are likely to not get oil even till Monday afternoon. Due to which petrol and diesel are slowly running out at the pump.
Petrol pump owner Ankit Kapoor told that earlier petrol and diesel were being available along with sending the demand, but now it has been arranged that first the sales manager will send mail to the concerned company, only then the petrol pump will get oil in diesel. Let us inform that there are a total of 208 petrol pumps in Haridwar district including Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Indian Oil Corporation among other companies.
