Babasaheb’s grandson will protest against Nupur Sharma in Mumbai, Home Minister alerts police

The grandson of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the constitution, has announced an agitation against the controversial remarks of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Prakash Ambedkar has announced a massive agitation on 17 June 2022 in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Dalit leader Prakash will lead the movement along with his party workers, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and various Muslim organisations.

A massive protest rally will be held in Mumbai by Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi to protest against the objectionable remarks made against Prophet Muhammad. This rally will go from Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi Office Jhula Maidan Madanpura to Azad Maidan, Mumbai on 17th June, 2022. Prakash Ambedkar himself gave this information on his Twitter account.

Video has been shared Invitation: In the video shared on Twitter, Prakash Ambedkar said, “A grand rally has been organized by Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Mumbai against the blasphemy done against Prophet Mohammad. On June 17, at 2 pm, the rally will start in front of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s office Madanpura and will go to Azad Maidan.

He further said, “There is a demand for this rally that those who have indulged in mischief should be arrested, legal action should be taken against them. I myself will be present in this rally and as a brotherhood, everyone is requested to attend this rally, people of Muslim community should also be present in the rally.

Threat to the lives of Indians: Talking about this controversy, Prakash Ambedkar said, “Strict action should be taken against Nupur Sharma”. Suspending from the party is not a coercive action. If anyone says anything against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, strict action is taken immediately. Then why not in this case?” He said that there is a threat to the lives of Indians living abroad due to the statements of Nupur Sharma and the leaders who supported her.

After this announcement by Babasaheb’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar, Mumbai Police is on high alert to prevent any untoward incident. Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Patil said that the police is on alert so that the law and order situation in the state does not deteriorate.
