Today, the government has announced Mission Agneepath (agneepath scheme army), making a big change in the recruitment process of the army. In today’s press conference, along with Rajnath Singh, the three army chiefs, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar were also present.

Youth will be recruited in the army for 4 years
This scheme launched by the Central Government has been started for the youth serving the particular country. Under this scheme, the youth of the country will be recruited in the army for 4 years. Along with this, youth will be appointed for short term service in the scheme. Rajnath Singh said the plan is to strengthen the security of the country
Agneepath Scheme Terms of Service
- Agniveers can be posted in any regiment/unit/establishment.
- Agniveers will carry a district rank in the Armed Forces
- A distinctive insignia to Agniveers during their service period.
- Agniveers are entitled to honors and awards as per the extant guidelines on the subject.

Agneepath Scheme Terms of Service
- Enrollment of Agniveers will be for 4 years including training period
- Agniveers will satisfy the medical eligibility conditions applicable to the respective categories/professions.
- The Agriveers will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Armed Forces
- 100% Agniveers will be given the option to opt for enrollment in the regular cadre
- 25% of the advances from each batch will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Armed Forces
What’s in the new plan
- Soldiers will be reviewed after 4 years
- Along with this, they will get service fund package while leaving their job.
- There will be no pension in the scheme, lump sum money will be given
- The soldiers recruited under this army will be called Agniveer.
- Most of the jawans recruited under this scheme will be freed after four years.
Which age group youth can apply?
In this scheme, the government will give good salary to the firefighters and even after 4 years of job, the youth will get a lot of new opportunities for the future. Let us tell you that youth of 17.5 years to 21 years (agneepath scheme army age limit) can apply in this scheme. There will be a provision for training from 10 weeks to 6 months in this.
How much will you get salary?
If we talk about the salary in this scheme, then according to the Ministry of Defense, the youth will get an annual package of 4.76 lakh for the first year in this scheme. At the same time, in the last ie fourth year, it will increase to 6.92 lakhs. At the same time, the people of the army will also get the benefit of allowances with risk and hardship. At the same time, after the completion of 4 years of service, Rs 11.7 lakh will be given to the youth of the army as service fund. Please note that no tax will be levied on this amount.
