Efforts are being made to provide GI tag to local crops. 9.75 crore has been made in the budget for this.

In the budget, 1216 patwaris posted in hilly areas will be given motorcycles. In the budget presented by Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal, the government’s focus has been on innovation in government departments. The government’s full emphasis is also going to be on promoting agricultural sectors. There is a glimpse of making the future of the state golden through capital projects in the budget.

Suggestions were sought for the budget

The Finance Minister said that a self-sufficient budget has been made by seeking suggestions from the public through WhatsApp, email. Interacted with various stakeholders. More than 200 stake holders gave their suggestions. Many suggestions have been included in the budget. In the budget speech, it has been said to speed up the development of the state through PPP mode. A contract of 700 crores has been signed with IIFAD for seven years to effectively implement the centrally funded schemes, encourage rural products. Insurance of traders has been increased from 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
