Bihar: Youth took to the streets to protest against ‘Agneepath Scheme’; Train stopped in Buxar, highway jammed in Muzaffarpur

In many cities of Bihar, youth took to the streets and protested against the Agneepath scheme of the central government. Students preparing for the reinstatement of the army in Buxar flared up during the demonstration and blocked the rail track. The youths stopped the Janstabdi Express at Buxar station on the Delhi-Howrah route, after which the passengers faced problems. At the same time, in Muzaffarpur, the protesting youth blocked National Highway 28. The youth created a ruckus at Chakkar Chowk near the railway station and blocked the road by lighting a fire at Chakkar Chowk. Chakkar Maidan is situated at a distance of about half a kilometer from here, where the army is restored.
A large number of security forces have been deployed in Buxar and Muzaffarnagar where the youth are protesting. Along with this, the police and administration are trying to extinguish them. There is a long line of vehicles on Muzaffarpur Samastipur road. Police of many police stations are reaching the spot and trying to understand the youth.
Why are youth protesting against Agneepath scheme?
A youth protesting at Gandhi Maidan in Patna asked what he would do after only four years of service. Are those people preparing to do government jobs for only four years? Will give Rs 12 lakh after four years. Then what will we do with him and will he go home for 30 thousand rupees?
Another youth preparing for army recruitment said that what will be the guarantee of getting a job after four years? If there is no job, why will it happen? No job security. Reservation of at least 20-30% should be given in jobs, which youths came out of Agneepath after completing 4 years. Even then something makes sense. Otherwise where will the youth wander?
The third youth said that this will affect the patriotism of the youth. There is nothing more disgraceful than a youth coming back home after working for 4 years. If it is accompanied by army training, then unemployment and sitting empty, he can go astray. Even after four years, if there is some arrangement for a separate job for the people of Agneepath, then the youth can prepare accordingly, but what the government has offered at present is not appropriate from anywhere.
