Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Bareilly smuggler arrested with 120 intoxicants, sent to jail
Mangal Padav Police has recovered 120 narcotic injections from one of the accused while disclosing the drug business. The accused is originally from Hafizganj Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and used to supply drug injections while staying in Haldwani. A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act and he has been sent to jail.
Police outpost in-charge Kashmir Singh said that information was received that a youth was selling drug injections near Ramlila Maidan. During this, when the police caught the accused and searched him, 120 intoxicants were recovered from his bag. During interrogation, the accused told that he brings intoxicant injections from Uttar Pradesh and supplies them in Haldwani. He had bought the injection from a person named Shakeel. He is doing this black business for the last many days.
Mangal Padav police outpost in-charge said that a case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act. After which the accused was presented in the court and sent to jail. The criminal history of the accused is also being checked.
