Uttarakhand: Congress will show anger over “Agneepath” in all 70 assembly constituencies on June 27 – Rajiv Mehrishi
The Congress party has decided to oppose this scheme across the state, terming the Agneepath scheme of the Modi government as a betrayal of the youth who dream of serving in the Indian Army and playing with their future. Giving the above information, Rajeev Mehrishi, media in-charge of the State Congress Committee said that the Congress party has described the Agneepath scheme announced by the Modi government at the Center as an action to destroy the long standing traditions and ethos of the armed forces and to break their morale. It has been decided to oppose this scheme which is playing with the future of the youth of the country. He said that soon after the announcement of Agneepath scheme by the Modi government, there is a massive protest in the entire country including Uttarakhand. He said that there is great resentment among the young unemployed youth of the country who are dreaming of joining the armed forces due to the imposition of Hitler’s policies by the Central Government without extensive consultation.
Rajiv Mehrishi said that the Congress party has opposed this plan on a large scale since the very first day to protect the national interest and the proud legacy of the army. In this context, a peaceful Satyagraha was organized by the All India Congress Committee on 20th June, 2022 at Jantar Mantar. Giving information, he said that the Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee organized a one-day Satyagraha on June 27, 2022 at 10:00 am in all the assembly constituencies of the state in protest against the Agneepath scheme, which broke the national interest and morale of the armed forces on the call of Hon’ble State President. have decided to do.
Under this program, a satyagraha will be organized in all the 70 assembly constituencies of the state on June 27, 2022 from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm against the Agneepath scheme. In the assembly constituencies, the Satyagraha will be led by the MLA of the respective assembly constituency and the 2022 assembly candidate.
