A heartbreaking case has come to light in Roorkee city of Haridwar district. A six-year-old girl and her mother have been gang-raped. It is being told that a woman resident of Piran Kaliyar was coming to Roorkee from Kaliyar late night with her daughter. On the way, he asked for a lift from a car. It is alleged that both were gang-raped in the moving car and after committing the crime, the accused fled after leaving them near the Gangnahar track.
The incident happened on Friday (June 24) late night. In a bloody condition, the woman reached the police with her daughter and informed about the incident. There was a stir in the police due to the information of gang rape from mother and daughter. In a hurry, the girl was admitted to the Roorkee Civil Hospital, as well as the woman’s medical has been done. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against one named and others under other sections including gangrape. Seeing the condition of the girl, the police admitted her to the civil hospital. At the same time, the police searched for the accused throughout the night. The CCTV cameras installed nearby were also searched, but nothing could be found about them.
Sitting in the car on the pretext of lift: The woman told the police that she was living in Kaliyar after separating from her husband for the last several years. The woman’s husband lives in Muzaffarnagar (UP). She was coming to Roorkee with her six-year-old girl child at around 11 pm on Friday (June 24). In Piran Kaliyar, he found a young man named Sonu. Sonu told that he was going to Roorkee and told the woman to leave Roorkee. Sonu made her sit in the car. Some of Sonu’s friends were also present in the car.
In the middle of the way, the youths in the car gang-raped the woman and her six-year-old in a moving car. The woman tried to protest, but the accused silenced the woman by threatening her. One did not walk in front of the accused of the woman. After raping the accused Kanwar escaped by throwing the mother and daughter on the track.
Four teams of police active: Regarding this matter, other police officers including SP Countryside Pramendra Dobal kept searching for the accused throughout the night, but at present nothing of the accused could be traced. After this incident, the woman is in a state of disrepair. The woman has not yet been able to tell how many people were in the car. However, the woman has told the police the name of Kaliyar, a resident of Sonu. In this case, the police have registered a case of rape against Sonu and his associates. Four teams of police have been deployed in search of the accused. All the CCTV cameras installed in and around Roorkee, Kaliyar are being scrutinized and the help of surveillance is also being taken. SP Dehat said that the whole matter is being monitored seriously.
At the same time, according to the information, in view of the critical condition of the girl admitted in the hospital, her surgery was done in the night itself. Then a surgery was done on Saturday also. There is some improvement in the condition of the girl child.
