Uttarakhand : Vegetables being brought from government vehicle, pet dogs roaming, contract outsourced driver association wrote a letter to CM Dhami

In Uttarakhand, the Samvida Outsourced Drivers Association has made another serious allegation on the government department of the state…. So that exploitation of workers can be stopped. Contract Outsourced Vehicle Driver Association said that there are many such employees in various departments who are misusing government vehicles. Employees allege that if a secretary has 5 departments then he is using government vehicles of all the five departments.. In which government vehicles are used for office stop, duty at home, children drop to school, bring vegetables from the market, home. They are being asked to do dog-walking work… and the expenditure of all these works is also being done by those officers from the government account. There is a demand of the Contract and Research Vehicle Driver Association that a policy should be set for the drivers engaged in the departments, government and municipal bodies, corporations, so that the employees can work according to their rules. The Outsourced Driver Association has also sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister regarding their demands and has demanded quick action.

On the other hand, Congress and BJP have come face to face on this matter. The Congress alleges that when the ministers of the government are not able to curb this unbridled bureaucracy, then in this manner the officers are doing their whims, on which the employees are being exploited. Whereas on the other hand BJP is still talking about following the policy of zero tolerance while defending its government. The BJP leader says that if any such case comes up in the government, then the government will take action against that officer and give justice to the employees.
