The high voltage drama continued on the second day to stop the encroachment removal campaign of the Housing Board. During this campaign, hundreds of women and men of Adityapur strongly opposed the campaign of Housing Board. It started from RIT police station premises on Saturday. On Saturday morning, hundreds of local people protested against the encroachment removal team at RIT police station.
Local people captured the bulldozer
During this, under the protection of the police, the bulldozer of the housing board was occupied by the mob as soon as the bulldozer turned towards Rickshaw Colony Khatal. During this, people surrounded the bulldozers from 10 am to 4 pm, destroying the action of the housing board’s encroachment removal campaign. After this the bulldozer of the housing board returned to Barang. Here Vinod Kumar, the deputation magistrate involved in the action, said that on the order of the court, there was a direction to free the housing board’s land from the possession of 141 encroachers in Adityapur. But the campaign could not be successful due to the opposition of the people. After the order of the department, a case will be registered against those opposing the anti-encroachment drive. The Assistant Engineer said that action is being taken on the orders of the court.
Outside the police station, the people of the housing board were surrounded
At 10 o’clock in the morning, a large number of men and women gathered outside the gate of RIT police station. Seeing the encroachers furious, the team of the Housing Board stayed in the police station itself. Here outside people kept raising slogans against the housing board. After a lot of effort, the RIT police removed the people from the gate of the police station. After which the bulldozer of the housing board came out to remove the encroachment. But as soon as the team of Housing Board came out for Rickshaw Colony. A large number of people surrounded the JCB of the Housing Board near the MIG Nala.
The housing board did not break the house by charging the price
In support of the people protesting under the banner of Awasiya Sangharsh Samiti, BJP ST Morcha State Treasurer Ganesh Mahali, INTUC State Secretary Ambuj Kumar, City Congress President Santosh Singh, Modi Fans Club patron Satish Sharma Samant, many leaders reached the spot and Supported the people protesting against the housing board. During this, everyone said in one voice that people have been living in these places for 40 years. It is wrong to break them. The housing board is ready to give money to the people. There is a provision to allot the names of the people who have been residing for 10 years regularly.
