Disqualification notice to 16 MLAs

Efforts are on to persuade some MLAs of the rebel faction inside the Shiv Sena.  On the other hand, the party’s stand is also strict on Eknath Shinde and some MLAs considered to be his hardcore supporters.  A day earlier, on the application of Shiv Sena, the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly had issued disqualification notices to 16 MLAs, including rebel faction leader Eknath Shinde.

Rebel MLAs claimed numerical strength

In the political battle of Maharashtra, the arrows of statements from both the Shiv Sena and the rebels are also running very well.  Disqualification notices were sent to 16 MLAs on behalf of the Deputy Speaker, on the other hand, the rebels clearly said that they cannot be disqualified.  They are ready to go to court against it.  The rebel faction claims that they have the support of two-thirds of the total MLAs of Shiv Sena.  Eknath Shinde had also sent a letter signed by 38 MLAs to the Deputy Speaker and the Governor.
