Gujarat: Principal told students in college to join BJP, got suspended

Explaining the rules of joining BJP to the principal of Gandhi Girls College in Bhavnagar, Gujarat has become costly. Congress strongly opposed this and demanded strict action against the principal, after which the principal was suspended. Actually, the principal had issued a notice in the college for the students who wanted to join the BJP.

It was written in the notice issued by the principal in Gujarati, all the students should note that for registration as a member of the page committee in BJP, everyone will have to bring their passport size photograph. Only students living within Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation limits will be made members. Also every other student will have to bring a mobile phone to take membership of BJP.

As soon as the notice was issued, the Congress strongly opposed it. Demanded strict action against the principal. On Monday also, the Congress talked about protesting against this notice. But in the meantime the principal has been suspended.

College trustee Dhirendra Vaishnav told that as soon as the principal’s action was known, the trust called a meeting and he was suspended.
