Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Government Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed to take strict action against illegal mining. According to the instructions given by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar has instructed all the Deputy District Magistrates to take strict action by conducting regular raids on the information of illegal mining, storage and illegal transportation in their respective areas.
In compliance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, 5 vehicles including 2 tractor trolley, 2 dumper, 1 truck were found illegally transporting mining material while conducting raids at night at places like Dhalipur under Tehsil Vikasnagar area. has been done. During the inspection, one truck was found transporting mining material in excess of the quantity mentioned in Rawanna and 4 vehicles without the form of Rawanna. As a result of violation of Uttarakhand sub-mineral (sand, gravel, boulder) chugan policy, Uttarakhand Mineral Rules promulgated in the state, action is being taken against the said vehicles.
District Magistrate Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar has informed that continuous action is being taken on illegal mining, transportation, storage and this type of action will continue in future also, for which necessary guidelines have been given to all the Deputy District Magistrates and concerned officers. That they should take continuous action by conducting raids on the information/complaints of illegal mining under their respective areas.
