Uttarakhand / Haldwani : When two daughters were born, wife was tortured, now absconding with sister-in-law, case filed
The father of two daughters fled with his sister-in-law. In this case, the woman has given a complaint against her husband in the police station. Police has started investigating the matter. This whole matter is of Banbhulpura police station area of Haldwani. The wife alleges that her husband used to torture her even for dowry.
The woman resident of the garden told the police that she was married on March 4, 2017 to Banbhulpura, a resident of Aaqib. In the marriage, the parents had given a lot according to their status, but the husband and in-laws were not satisfied with her and started harassing her a few days after the marriage for demanding dowry.
The woman told that after some time of marriage she gave birth to a daughter. After the birth of the daughter, her in-laws started harassing her more. The woman says that she endured everything for her daughter. Sometime she gave birth to another daughter. After the birth of the second daughter, the atrocities on the in-laws increased beyond the limits. It is alleged that one day the husband had given her some poisonous substance in the food to kill her, due to which her health had deteriorated. The woman told that on June 23, her husband had taken her out of the house saying that she would go to Moradabad in UP, but later it was found that he had taken away her younger sister by luring her. It is alleged from the woman that now her in-laws are beating her up and trying to get her out of the house. The woman has given a complaint against her husband and in-laws at Banbhulpura police station. Banbhulpura police station in-charge says that investigation has been started after registering a case in the whole matter. The accused will be arrested soon.
