Sudhir Chaudhary resigns from Zee News
Sudhir Chaudhary, Editor-in-Chief and CEO of Zee News, Vion, Zee Business and Zee 24Taas has resigned. This has been confirmed in a mail sent by the company HR.
In a mail sent by Ruchira Srivastava, HR Head of Zee News, it has been told that- Sudhir Chaudhary is going to start his own venture after 10 years journey with Zee News. Respecting his wish, the company has accepted his resignation with a heavy heart.
The editors of Zee News, Zee Business and Zee 24 Taas will further report to the President – Group Strategy and Innovation, while the editors of Vion will report directly to the publisher.
There was speculation about his resignation for a long time. Sudhir had withdrawn from his show DNA three days ago. His show was hosted by Zee Hindustan’s anchor Rohit Ranjan.
After Sudhir’s resignation, now a letter from Zee Media Group owner Subhash Chandra has also surfaced. In which he said, “I have been trying to persuade Sudhir for two days. But he wants to start his own venture, but he wants to start a venture of his own using his fan following. I did not want to come, so I have accepted the resignation and wished him all the best for the future. Please settle this account at the earliest.”
