Uttarakhand : BJP broke ties with Roorkee Mayor Gaurav Goyal, Captain Kaushik showed Goyal the way out due to anti-party antics

Roorkee Mayor Gaurav Goel has been expelled by the Bharatiya Janata Party for six years. Gaurav Goyal, who has been in controversies since his tenure, is also accused of promoting corruption and increasing factionalism in the party. On Friday itself, the court has ordered the police to re-investigate them in an old case. Bharatiya Janata Party’s state media in-charge Manveer Chauhan, in a statement issued to the press, informed about the expulsion of Roorkee Mayor Gaurav Goyal from the party for 6 years. Chouhan informed that on the instructions of State President Madan Kaushik, he has been expelled from the party for six years for indulging in anti-party activities. He was constantly making indiscipline and disputes with the party councilors in the corporation and rhetoric against the party.
