The first video of ‘another world’ found in Antarctica came in front, mysterious creatures ran fast after seeing the camera

New Delhi: There are many such places on Earth, about which humans are not yet aware. Recently a team of researchers discovered another world hidden under the ice in Antarctica. The first video from that world has now surfaced. It is believed that this discovery will reveal many secrets related to Antarctica.

In fact, some researchers from a University of New Zealand were searching for rivers flowing under the ice in Antarctica. For this he drilled about 500 meters down, on which he came to know about a new underwater eco-system. Although this discovery happened by mistake, but many surprising things have been found in it.

According to researcher Craig Stevens, when the camera reached 500 meters down, he saw something on the camera. Initially, he thought that his lens had become dirty, due to which those things were visible, but when he focused, he was surprised. Small creatures were hovering over there. As soon as the camera reached, he started jumping on it. They found a swarm of arthropods about 5 mm in size.

How to survive in such low temperature?

Now researchers have released the full video of this incident. In which you can see that when the camera reached inside with the drill machine, there was water under the ice. In which swarms of many small prawn-like creatures were seen. According to scientists, the temperature of Antarctica goes up to minus 88 degrees Celsius in winter, while it remains around minus 40 degrees in summer. At the same time, this ecosystem was found 500 meters below the ice sheet, in such a situation, their survival in the temperature there is also a big secret.

Much research left

According to the researchers, the swarm of creatures found includes lobsters, crabs, small creatures of the same lineage as mites. More research is needed on them now. The team included researchers from Wellington, Auckland and Otago, who are still looking for rivers under the ice.
