Navy: 20 percent women will be included in the first batch of Agniveers
For the central government’s Agneepath scheme, 20 percent of the candidates will be women. These women would constitute the first batch of Agniveers. They will be sent to various parts and branches of the Indian Navy. A Navy official gave this information. Let us tell you, the Agneepath scheme was announced in June last month. Through this scheme, appointments will be made in the Army, Air Force and Navy for four years.
Girls are very excited about Agneepath scheme
There is a lot of enthusiasm among the girls regarding the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme. Since the launch of the scheme, till now more than 10 thousand applications of girls have come. The special thing is that for the first time in the Navy, women are going to be recruited as sailors. These women sailors will also be deployed on warships.

Online process will run from July 15 to July 30
The Navy will start the online process of applications for the recruitment process from July 15 to July 30. About 3,000 women sailors will be recruited in the Navy this year. Although the number of female Agniveers will be there, nothing has been finalized about it yet.
Training will be held on INS Chilka
Women sailors will be trained from November 21, for which preparations are being made on board the Indian warship INS Chilka. Navy officials say that there will be no discrimination against anyone in the Agneepath scheme. Presently, 30 women officers are deployed on the frontline warships. It has been decided that now women will be recruited and sent on expeditions to all the wings of the Navy.
