Uttar Pradesh : Draupadi Murmu reached Lucknow with a grand welcome, meeting with MLAs and MPs; Shivpal and OP Rajbhar arrived for dinner

Draupadi Murmu, the candidate of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the presidential election, was given a grand welcome on reaching Lucknow on Friday. While the government and the BJP decorated the entire city to welcome Murmu, he was welcomed from the airport to the Lok Bhavan.
Draupadi Murmu, along with Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, reached the capital by charter plane to gain the support of NDA MLAs from Uttar Pradesh. He was welcomed at the airport by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Swatantra Dev Singh, Apna Dal SK Ashish Patel and Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad. Tribal artists welcomed with folk music and dance outside the airport. At the same time, women from Dalit and tribal sections welcomed Murmu under the banner of BJP Scheduled Tribes Morcha.
After this Murmu reached Lok Bhavan to attend the NDA meeting. He paid floral tributes at the statue of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna at Lok Bhavan. At the same time, a dinner program was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence to welcome Murmu. In which leaders of other parties including SP MLA Shivpal Yadav also reached.
Training of MLAs on 17th July
For the presidential election, the BJP has issued a decree to all MPs to reach Delhi and MLAs to Lucknow on July 16. On July 17, MPs in Delhi and MLAs in Lucknow will be trained to vote for the Presidential election.
BJP will create village to village, street to street environment through Murmu.
After the results of the presidential election, the BJP has planned to reach out to the tribal and Dalit vote bank not only in the state but across the country. After the victory of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu, every gram sabha, block and ward will celebrate the first tribal woman becoming president by putting up a photograph of Draupadi Murmu. At the same time, BJP workers will go to tribal and Dalit settlements to write a letter of thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda for giving a chance to a tribal woman to become the President.
