Uttarakhand / Haldwani : In Haldwani, BJP leader accused of molesting on the strength of a firearm, case registered
A woman has filed a case in Lalkuan Kotwali accusing the General Secretary of Bindukhatta Bharatiya Janata Party Mandal of molesting and assaulting her after entering the house. Police has started investigation in the whole matter.
The victim, a resident of Ghoranala of Lalkuan Kotwali area, has given a complaint to the police that on Thursday, July 7 at around 9 pm, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mandal General Secretary Bhupesh Pathak, resident of Sanjay Nagar, entered her house with a pistol and started molesting.
According to the woman, when he tried to make noise, he started assaulting her. During this, his son also came to the spot and the accused leader also beat up his son. Neighbors also gathered on the spot after hearing the noise. During this, the accused fled from the spot while threatening the people. Lalkuan Kotwali in-charge Sanjay Kumar says that after registering a case under the sections of molestation, the investigation of the whole case has been started.
