Bihar : The son of a daily wage laborer got a scholarship of 2.5 crores, will graduate from America
Lal of Bihar has done wonders. A 17-year-old son of a daily wage laborer has got a scholarship of Rs 2.5 crore to pursue his graduation in America. To get this scholarship, he took the exam, in which he got 6th rank in the whole world. Now the daily wage worker’s son will study in America. The name of this young man is Prem. He has received a scholarship of Rs 2.5 crore from Lafayette College, USA for doing mechanical engineering. Lafayette College America has given this scholarship to Prem Kumar, a resident of Gonpur in Phulwari Sharif, adjacent to Patna, the capital of Bihar. 6 names went from India for this scholarship. Prem Kumar, who lives in the slum of Gonpura Mahadalit Basti of Phulwari Sharif, has got this scholarship of 2.5 crores on the basis of his studies. Prem has studied in a dark room of a hut house with lights on and now he will brighten the name of the country by studying in a big college in America.
Prem’s father is a daily wage laborer and his mother passed away 12 years ago due to being paralyzed by sleeping on the ground. Despite being a daily wage laborer, the father supported his child’s education. Today Prem has become the only youth in India to get a scholarship of 2.5 crores. Now the society as well as the people around are congratulating him and feeding him sweets. Prem Kumar told that we have struggled a lot, if there was no struggle then this achievement would not have been achieved, I have participated in whatever opportunities I have got during my studies and have achieved my destination, we come from a very poor family. My father works as a farm laborer and my mother has passed away.
At the same time, there is an atmosphere of celebration among the family members due to the success of Prem. Prem’s elder sister and father are also looking very happy. The family has told that it is a matter of pride for the whole country, not our society. The family told that people should study and work hard and achieve their success, without hard work no success is achieved.
