Zelensky removed ambassadors of five countries including India amid Russia-Ukraine war
Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky along with India announced the dismissal of Ukraine’s ambassadors to Germany, the Czech Republic, Norway and Hungary amid the ongoing war with Russia. The reason why this decision was taken is not yet clear.
However, Zelensky’s displeasure with Germany is understandable. In an interview last week, Germany’s ambassador made a statement in defense of Hitler-backed Nazis during World War II. But why the Bari ambassadors have been removed has not been disclosed.
On the other hand, Zelensky has again claimed that with the help of Western countries, he will keep the Russian army behind. It has been more than four months since the war that started on February 24. But the Russian army has not yet captured Ukraine. He is facing fierce opposition. On the other hand, Russia’s attack in Ukraine continued on Saturday as well. Russia hurled bombs and shells on several cities, including Mariupol and Donetsk. The attack in Donetsk killed 5 people and injured 7 people. In addition, one person was killed in attacks by Russian forces in two cities in central Ukraine.
For the time being, Zelensky is concerned about the situation in Britain. Boris Johnson has resigned. After Johnson’s resignation, Ukraine feels that the support it could have got from Britain, it will no longer get it. A few months ago, Boris was seen with Zelensky on the streets of Kyiv. Johnson was supporting Ukraine.
On the other hand, the US Secretary of State has asked the Chinese Foreign Minister to make a statement against Russia in the war and support Ukraine. The US Secretary of State said that America is trying to improve relations with China, but first China spoke against Russia. Whereas Russian President Vladimir Putin warned European countries that if European countries continued with sanctions against Russia, then the people there would have to face the consequences. This will have an impact on oil and gas prices.
