Uttaarakhand / Dehradun : The system did not take care of the problems of the public, so the policeman picked up the bricks and himself filled the potholes of the road.
About two months ago, police booths were uprooted from various intersections of Doon. Now the pits being replaced by them are irritating the system. Often traffic policemen are stationed at the intersection. He is well aware of the extent to which potholes are becoming a problem for the drivers. Under this, the traffic policeman posted at the square of Rispana bridge has taken the initiative to fill potholes at the private level on Sunday.
On Sunday, the duty of traffic policeman Vijay Kumar Raturi was on the Rispana bridge. He noticed that the drivers are getting upset due to the potholes in place of the booth. To avoid potholes, the drivers were suddenly seen making cuts, which is likely to cause an accident. In such a situation, the policeman Raturi picked up the bricks from the surrounding and started filling the pit himself. Seeing this, the public also encouraged him.
This effort may not be enough, but it is enough to tell the system that the potholes after the uprooting of police booths at intersections need to be filled. Jagran has also raised this matter prominently in Sunday’s issue. Still, the sleep of those responsible is not getting broken.
